About Me: Daniel
I'm the one on the left.
I am here because I want to become a better leader. I am one of the fortune few that got to come back a second time. I hope to improve my leadership skills that i learn last year and I hope to have a lot of fun. A motto that represents me is "Honor and Strength". I feel this represents me because they are two things that are very important in life.
The challenge course was super fun. I already new what to expect because I had come the year before, I was still nervous when I did some of the challenges. My goal for the day was to get to all the challenges and by the end I had accomplished that goal. The zip line was the funnest, but the ladder was much harder.

The Nyssa Group.
We are learning lots here at the Oregon Migrant Leadership Institute. Today we learned about choices and problem solving. We learn to think about what we can do and then do it. Then we learned to work together when we are trying to solve problems, so that everybody gets what they want.
The "Last" Day
The week is over and I feel that we have all learned a lot about each other, about college, and most importantly about being great leaders. During the Egg Drop/ Bridge of Knowledge, I felt that the group I was put into really worked together. I felt that we were really learned how to get to know people so we could work well together. We were also good when we brain stormed the design to our bridge. Itzuri, Fabiola, Lola, Bryan, and me were able to split the work to build the bridge, so we could get the job done in the time that was provided. Then during the egg drop we also came up with a great design but with the time provided we did not insure the safety of our egg and it cracked when it was dropped.
